In the mood for a good coffee with a treat during your museum visit? Or would you like a good sandwich for lunch? You will find our restaurant on board the museum ship Schorpioen. It is open during school holidays and the weekends of Easter and Pentecost.
Food & drink at Willemsoord
Outside of school holidays, you can visit various restaurants on the historic grounds of Willemsoord, within walking distance of the museum. Complete your museum visit with a delicious lunch or a cup of coffee in the area. Thanks to our wristband system, you can temporarily leave the museum and easily return after lunch to continue your visit. This way, you can relax and enjoy both the museum and the cozy hospitality venues at Willemsoord.

Taking a break with a view
You can also combine a visit to the museum with a visit to Veerhuis Lands End. From this unique location on the dike, you have a beautiful view of the harbours of Den Helder, the Marsdiep, and the island of Texel. In the restaurant or on the terrace, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a delicious lunch, high tea, a convivial drink, or an extensive dinner. When the weather is nice, the terrace is a lovely place to relax, with a view of the water and the fresh sea air.
