Tickets can be obtained from our cashier desks at the museum. And you can also purchase your tickets online ahead of time.
From November to April, the museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. From May to October, the museum is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.

To keep the museum and our collections clean and tidy, food and drink are not allowed inside the museum. Obviously, you are allowed to have food and drinks at the restaurant or in the entrance area.
Yes, our car park is free for museum visitors. Our car park is only intended for museum visitors, parking for a longer period of time or a visit to Texel is not allowed. A tow-away scheme is in effect.
Only smaller bags are allowed to be taken into the museum. Other bags can be left in the lockers.
The buildings of the museum are wheelchair accessible.Unfortunately, our ships are not.It is possible to borrow a wheelchair in the museum, but please reserve in advance.
No, dogs are not allowed inside in the museum (nor any other pets). An exception is made for assistance and guide dogs.
All children up to and including age 12 must be escorted by an adult (18+).
Visitors are not permitted to take pictures or shoot videos involving the use of tripods. Lamps and flash light equipment are not permitted inside the museum’s dark rooms.
